So, I've decided to start a blog....

So I've decided to start a crafting blog.   I'm not sure if it is a good idea or not, but I thought I would give it a try.  Although the thought has crossed my mind in the past to start a blog, it is since I've been introduced to  www.pintrest.com that I've seriously considered it.  Thanks to Pinterest I've been doing all sorts of interesting things lately like eating giant S'more Chocolate Chip Cookies and painting my finger and toe nails like candy canes!

I love to create things, always have.  I do a variety of crafts - what ever catches my eye really, although my favorite is quilting.  I always have several projects on go, and many more in mind!  And since I'm a busy mom, this is my way to inspire myself to find time to craft and finish projects. And maybe inspire you to create something beautiful too!

So to start things off - this is last project I finished in 2011.  A cross stitched Christmas stocking for my husband (two down, two to go!).  Just in time for Christmas I might add!
